P&T committee
Having access to a P&T committee means that our formularies are clinically sound and cost effective. We believe in the value of due diligence, that is, looking at the true value of your benefit dollars with clinical outcomes in mind
The P&T committee we leverage is made up clinical experts from various organizations in a variety of specialties. They meet 4 times each year to review and evaluate safety and effectiveness.

Providing clinical guidance related to appropriate drug formularies and use of the medication or devices
Ensuring our formularies are clinically sound and cost effective
Review and approval of the pharmaceutical product’s formulary status
Review and approval of policy and procedures related to the formulary maintenance process
Perform Therapeutic Class Reviews
Review formulary management activities (prior/pre‐authorization, step therapies, quantity limitations, generic substitutions and other drug utilization activities that affect access)
